Manuscripts of submitted papers should observe style conventions as exemplified in Tire Science and Technology.
Order of Assembly:
- title page (which should include author's complete mailing address)
- abstract and keywords
- body of manuscript
- bibliography
- list of table titles, followed by tables
- list of figure captions followed by figures.
Manuscripts should be submitted to the program committee in MS Word format using e-mail. If the manuscript is submitted for publication only, it may be submitted, preferably via e-mail, directly to the Editor. If it is not feasible to submit the manuscript electronically, submit an original copy of the manuscript, including the original set of figures and/or glossy black and white prints, along with three additional complete copies for review purposes. If accepted, it is highly desirable that the final draft be submitted in ready-to-publish electronic form using MS Word format.
Format should be double space on one side only.
SI units should be used throughout the text and on the figures; authors may include other units in parentheses.
Only papers not previously published will be accepted, and the author must agree not to publish elsewhere a paper submitted to and accepted by the Journal.
Manuscripts must be accompanied by a signed Transfer of Copyright Agreement to The Tire Society, a not-for-profit Ohio Corporation. The form appears regularly in Tire Science and Technology, and will be sent to authors whose papers are accepted for publication.
