THE TWENTY-NINTH ANNUAL MEETING AND CONFERENCE ON TIRE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

The 2010 conference is being held Monday & Tuesday September 20 & 21, 2010 at the Four Points Akron West by Sheraton (soon to be Doubletree) in Fairlawn, OH, USA.  The conference dates and location have been coordinated to allow attendees to consider also attending ITEC2010 the same week, September 21-23, 2010,  just  40 minutes north at the IX Center in Cleveland.  Plan to attend! 

Mr. Seung Hwa Suh, Vice Chairman and CEO of Hankook Tire, will give the keynote address and Dr. Yukio Nakajima, Bridgestone Corporation Tire Research Division Director, will present the plenary address.

Conference Registration Information:
  • Registration information will be added in Spring 2010.

  • The conference fee is $250 US.   The fee covers attendance for the two day conference, first day luncheon and award banquet dinner, session break snacks and refreshments; and a one year membership with subscription to Tire Science & Technology print journal & access to on-line journal archive.  ($100 US for retirees; $50 US for students - conference only; no membership)

  • For accommodations, the Four Points Sheraton Hotel is offering a special Tire Society rate of $99/night.  

  • Akron also offers many hotels, restaurants, lounges and entertainment facilities.  Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) is within 45 minutes; Akron-Canton Regional Airport (CAK) is within 15 minutes.
